Thank you for your interest in our European HamFest, which is to take place in Austria this time.
On this information page we share current information about the planned Ham-Event 2026.
Ideas, suggestions and proposals for the event are always welcome.
Keep checking back here, and if the status date at the top of this page has changed, there will probably be new information here somewhere ;-)
The meeting is again intended for the whole family.
SWL's and CB radio friends are also very welcome!
And if you can't be there, a QSO partner is very much appreciated.
In 2023 (beginning of October) we have been very lucky with the weather.
In order to have a higher probability of warm and dry weather, we would like to choose an earlier date for next time, namely the weekend of September 5/6, '26. In Austria and southern Germany there will still be school vacations, so hopefully it will not clash with other vacation plans.
In addition, all regional congresses should be over by then. Please reserve the weekend in your diary now. Maybe you can even combine it with a short vacation before or after.
We have chosen the following location:

We endeavor to keep the planning effort as low as possible.
In order to spread the work over as many shoulders as possible, we are looking for helpers and responsible persons for the organization and implementation of the following areas:

In order to provide a pleasant setting for everyone on site and to be able to provide for the physical well-being, certain costs will be incurred.
As soon as we have a more precise overview of the number of participants (from Januaryy - see information on the registration deadline below), we will provide more detailed information here.
Of course we want to barbecue together again. However, only gas barbecues are allowed, no open fires.
We are probably planning to buy barbecue food and non-alcoholic drinks for everyone again this time.
Last year, the contribution towards expenses including food/drinks per day/person was around €16. As soon as we start planning and know approximately how many will be coming in 2026, we will announce here what we can expect this time.
If you have special dietary requirements, we ask you to take care of yourself.

We ask you to provide your own accommodation (apartment/hotel) during the meeting.
It is possible to make a binding reservation before the official booking start of the campsite. We have been given a contingent in advance. Please enter your details in the linked Excel list. You will then receive a booking confirmation directly from the campsite in January. However, this is only valid until 30.12.25, anyone who wants to book after this date must contact the campsite operator directly.
Data protection information
By completing the registration list, you consent to the processing of your personal data for the sole purpose of registration. The data will be transmitted to the campsite operator. No further processing will take place. After the purpose of use has ceased, the data will be deleted by us. You can assert your rights such as information, deletion, modification, ... with the organizers of the event or the campsite operator. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent authority.
